For Parents
At International School Fryslân (ISF), we are dedicated to delivering a high-quality international education.
Our modern, purpose-built campus features sustainable buildings, inviting classrooms, and a child-friendly outdoor area. Our international staff eagerly awaits welcoming students and parents, with small class sizes ensuring individual support and differentiation to meet each student’s needs.
Admissions
We offer open enrolment for international students and Dutch students with international background.
The admissions process can be done remotely and fully online or in person as needed. ISF looks forward to receiving first applications for students starting in January 2026.

Our Story
The idea of ISF step by step turned into reality, after the need for an international school in the province of Friesland was identified.
The school vision was soon put into words, and a school logo was developed, embedding the traditional heart-shaped water lily leaf in a network of connections, symbolising Mienskip, the Frisian value of community and shared responsibility.
Our goal is to foster international mindedness and life-long learning in a supportive, diverse and international community.
