Support via IWCN – for Parents and Employers
Moving to a new country or region can raise many questions both for international families and for employers supporting international staff. That’s why the International School Fryslân works closely with the International Welcome Center North (IWCN).
The IWCN is the central contact point for internationals in the Northern Netherlands. Through www.iwcn.nl, they provide support in many areas:

Tips and guidance on housing, healthcare, transportation, language, culture and social activities.

Access to a wide network of international families, social events and activities that help newcomers feel at home in Fryslân and the northern region.
For parents, IWCN offers a trusted one-stop-shop for questions about settling into a new environment. For employers, IWCN provides the tools and expertise to help international staff and their families successfully adapt and integrate.
